I encountered a hydrocarbon pump whose seal oil tank had an overreported liquid level; when trying to drain it into the AD tank, the level wouldn’t drop. After removing the plug from the pressure gauge on the top of the tank to allow air to escape, the level still didn’t decrease, and the only solution was to continue draining the fluid externally. Could you tell me what the reason is and how to fix it? ? :(

It’s an internal leak, but after the liquid level rose and caused an explosion, opening the pressure gauge tube to drain it didn’t work. Why is that? Is the leakage too large?
What do you mean by letting it out? Isn’t it only the valve at the bottom of the sealed oil tank that is used for draining? PLAN52 is reporting an excessive liquid level. I usually start by opening the valve of the breather valve on the seal oil tank, and then open the valve at the bottom, so that the liquid inside can flow out smoothly.

It’s because of this arrangement that it’s not possible to pump it out; I tried by opening the plug on the pressure gauge at the top and connecting it to the atmosphere, thinking that would help in draining the fluid, but it still didn’t work – it’s still impossible to pump it out.
Is a pipeline connected at the bottom of the sealed tank to the designated waste discharge point? If that’s the case, it will be troublesome as there won’t be enough space to accommodate them
Do you mean releasing it directly into the atmosphere? What does it mean?
