Many bimetallic thermometers are used on storage tanks; whether they are newly installed or have been in use for a year, many of them fail the inspection tests, showing severe temperature deviations. Is it a manufacturing issue or a verification issue? I’m really confused ?

First is the issue of precision, followed by the issue of quality, and then the issue of operating conditions. We use Wanwo bimetallic thermometers. Even those that are brand new have a low pass rate when tested. In order to obtain the certification, we have to ask them to communicate with the metrology institute, and after each such consultation, a qualified report is issued
