Knowing that vortex flowmeters have fairly good accuracy, can they be used for measuring compressed air in trade?

However, many customers are reluctant to use vortex flow meters, and this is mostly due to errors made during the selection process – the wrong type of vortex flow meter was chosen, which results in significant measurement errors or no data being available. Secondly, compressed air metering requires the output of values on standard conditions; most vortex flowmeters use external temperature and pressure sensors, which not only increase costs but also make installation complicated and maintenance difficult.
