What are the reasons for excessive steam being discharged by the jet-type vapor seal extractor in a back-pressure turbine? If there is significant leakage in the turbine’s vapor seal, then there should be a lot of steam at the exhaust point on the turbine, but that isn’t the case. Please help analyze this
It’s probably due to poor cooling performance. Check the temperatures at the inlet and outlet of the circulating cooling water, as well as whether the filter is clogged
