The oil cooler is hot on one side and cold on the other

This post was last edited by Rist on 2015-8-2 20:55. The oil cooler of one of the hot oil pumps in the unit is cold on the left half and hot on the right half. What is the reason for this?
There is a set of valves that are not open, or they are blocked. If both are put into operation at the same time, there will be no scaling, as one of them is good.
It might be blocked by trash inside, creating dead zones. Coolness indicates no heat exchange

It mainly depends on the structure of your oil cooler and the flow direction of the cooling medium.
There is a high likelihood that the heat exchange tubes are partially blocked or scaled, failing to meet the oil inlet requirements; it is recommended to clean and inspect them.
The hot half might be blocked; the liquid hardly flows at all. Clean it out
