1. Coal chemical industry started later than the petroleum chemical industry, and its management and regulatory systems are not as comprehensive, thorough, and practical as those of the petroleum chemical industry； 2. The differences in management skills and qualities are also very important; many people who started out in the coal industry and then moved into the chemical sector simply do not have the right mindset ； 3. Coal is a solid substance with many impurities, making it difficult to handle. From the initial stage, equipment such as mechanical devices is more likely to experience problems compared to those used in the petrochemical industry; once issues arise at this initial stage, all subsequent processing stages will be affected as well ； The petrochemical industry has a stable upstream stage, while the subsequent stages are complex; however, a shutdown in the later stages does not result in a complete shutdown of the entire operation ； 4. The economic efficiency of coal chemical industry is generally lower than that of the petroleum chemical industry. On one hand, there are many small enterprises in the coal chemical sector, mostly private companies, while those in the petroleum chemical industry are usually large corporations. On the other hand, workers in the coal chemical industry tend to receive lower salaries and work under more difficult conditions, whereas conditions in the petroleum chemical industry are relatively better; as a result, better-paid workers prefer to work in the petroleum chemical industry ；

Why coal chemical enterprises cannot operate stably in the long term... Apart from the factors mentioned above, it is largely due to problems with selling their products.
