What are the design specifications for carbon monoxide, total sulfur, and methanol in the carbon dioxide product gas from the Lurgi low-temperature methanol synthesis process using coal as feedstock? I have 1.4% carbon monoxide, no sulfur, and 0.05% methanol
The CO2 concentration is generally around 98.65%, and the levels of CO, CH3OH, etc. you mentioned are all similar.
Sulfur must be present; it’s just in small amounts. Design values: H2S: 5 mg/Nm3, total sulfur: 10 mg/Nm3, methanol: 50 mg/Nm3, CO: 1000 mg/Nm3
