How to use RadFrac to separate large amounts of ethylene glycol from small amounts of diethylene glycol
Check how large the difference in their relative volatilities is (for most cases, the boiling point difference can be used to determine whether distillation is possible); look up relevant literature to see if an azeotrope might form. If the volatilities are high and no azeotrope forms, then simple distillation will suffice; otherwise, special distillation methods such as extractive distillation are required
