What is a low-temperature stress relief condition? What is a low-temperature and low-stress operating condition? What are the design requirements for pressure vessels under these two operating conditions?
I’ve never heard of the low-temperature stress-reduction condition. The low-temperature low-stress condition refers to a situation where, although the temperature is low, the design stress is less than or equal to 1/6 of the yield strength of the steel at normal temperature, and is not greater than 50 MPa. For design purposes, select materials other than Q235B at a design temperature of +50°C under conditions of low temperature and low stress

The low-temperature stress-reduction condition refers to a situation in which containers and pressure-bearing components are exposed to low temperatures (≤-20°C), with the overall membrane tensile stress being between 1/6 and 30% of the material’s standard yield strength at normal temperature. But what are the regulations regarding the design of pressure vessels under such operating conditions?
