In chemical manufacturing enterprises, what are the main differences between dry-type transformers and wet-type transformers? What should be considered in terms of safety?
Wet-type transformer? Oil-immersed transformer
Dry-type transformers are more expensive than oil-type ones in terms of price. In terms of capacity, oil-transformers have a larger capacity than dry-transformers. Dry-type transformers are required in integrated buildings (basements, floors, rooftops, etc.) and crowded places. The oil transformer is located in a separate substation.
