How to set the upper and lower limits for a combustible gas alarm
The lower limit of the flammable gas explosion limit is 100% LEL
Our factory sets the high alarm at 10% LEL, and the very high alarm at 20% LEL
The answer above is correct; it is based on the set explosion threshold
We generally set it at 20% of the explosion limit, with API520 as a reference
Underreport by 25%, overreport by 50%. It is usually preset at the factory; if adjustments are needed on-site, they can be made directly on the detector and the alarm controller. I have a smart combustible gas detector here. Alarm points can be set on-site.
