There is a factory located in a Class A explosive area, containing large quantities of Class A materials. The client does not want to use measuring tanks; instead, they require static weighing, with the material being transferred from access holes using a mobile diaphragm pump. I would like to ask about the regulatory guidelines for setting up measurement tanks Advantages and disadvantages of metering tanks, static weighing, and flowmeters in measurement?
Static weighing and metering tanks, suitable for intermittent quantitative dosing. Compared to the latter, the metering tank is simpler. Flow meters are suitable for continuous operation. Different flowmeters offer varying levels of accuracy.
Since it is an intermittent operation, the flow meter needs to be excluded
