Regarding the selection of cables

I currently have an ice maker rated for -25 degrees Celsius, with a power capacity of 220 kW. The cables used have a cross-sectional area of 150 square millimeters; at 80% load, the temperature of these cables can reach 51 degrees Celsius. Is this temperature too high? Is it necessary to connect an additional cable? How should I choose the specifications for the cable? What are the relevant standards? I hope those who are familiar with electrical systems can help answer these questions. Thank you.

1. I’m not familiar with ice machines, but cable selection is based on the operating current. First, determine the operating current (under the most severe operating conditions), then select the cable according to its current-carrying capacity, and finally add an appropriate margin considering the conditions in your factory and the distance between the loads； 2. Based on typical motor loads, a 220KW system would require around 400A of current. Choosing a 150 square millimeter cable is a bit too small; using two 120 square millimeter cables as suggested above would be sufficient, or you could also use another 150 square millimeter cable
