A gear flow meter is a high-precision measuring instrument used for continuous or intermittent measurement of flow rate in pipelines. It features high precision, good reliability, light weight, long service life, and easy installation and use, which are typical characteristics of positive displacement flow meters. The rotary vane flow meter, also known as a Roots flow meter, is characterized by the presence of a measurement chamber within its housing; inside this chamber, there is one or two pairs of rotary vanes that can rotate in contact with each other. Outside the flow meter housing, a pair of drive gears are installed coaxially with the two pulleys; they mesh with each other to enable the two pulleys to move in coordination.
