What is the typical level of solids content that should be controlled in the treatment of graywater before it is discharged as wastewater, rather than focusing on turbidity?
The sludge water is considered in terms of its solid content; the wastewater sent to the sewage treatment plant is normal circulating gray water, and generally there are no requirements regarding solid content for it – the lower the better. Specify some criteria for the gray water pump, such as <0.3%
In our factory, the solid content is generally kept below 2%
We keep it below 3500 mg/L; please take this into consideration.
3500ppm? Is it that tall? Here, it’s usually under 200
3500ppm, is it desulfurization wastewater from thermal power plants or black ash water from coal chemical industries?
The mass content should be within 0.7%.

Because after the construction of the plant is completed, depending on the amount of water produced, the volume of the sedimentation tanks, and the settling characteristics of impurities, the ash content in the wastewater discharged will remain almost unchanged, unless there is a significant change in the amount of water used for production. Wastewater treatment facilities prefer that the ash content in your waste be as low as possible, as this makes their work easier. When the ash content in your graywater is high, they start to complain, but there’s nothing you can do about it! :lol:lol
Whether the poster is from a design firm or a manufacturing unit, this value cannot be determined during the design phase. This value varies depending on the different process packages. For example, in the case of single-nozzle water-coal slurry, the value is relatively low, ranging from 0.5 to 1% (wt%), while it is higher for multi-nozzle systems; the value is even higher in the case of pulverized coal gasification. This can be seen from the ratio of coarse slag to fine slag in actual production processes.
Personally, I understand it to be the solid content of suspended solids in the wastewater discharged outside; generally, it is less than 100 mg/L.
