In frequency conversion control, is it necessary to have a redundant setup for the output card AO of the DCS system?
It depends on the requirements of your project; in some projects, both AO and DO are redundant. The simple way to check is: if this AO point or card fails, will it cause the device to stop? If possible, it is recommended to use a redundant configuration.
