Many users who come to inquire about tensile testing machines are worried that they won’t know how to operate them after purchase, but there’s no need to worry about this; our company, Kunshan Huakai, has dedicated after-sales engineers who come to install and adjust the equipment on-site. To help users gain a clear understanding of the operation, we have provided the following detailed introduction: I. Operating environment for the tensile testing machine 1. It should be installed properly on a stable base or workbench, in an environment free from vibrations and corrosive substances; 2. The voltage fluctuation range should not exceed ±10% of the rated voltage, and the power supply for the testing machine must have a reliable grounding system, with frequency fluctuations not exceeding 2% of the rated frequency; 3. The room temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C, with a relative humidity of no more than 80%. II. Operating Procedures for Tensile Testing Machine 1. Prepare specimens: Prepare the specimens in accordance with the requirements of the testing standards, and measure their dimensions and other relevant data. 2. Power on: First, start the software control system on the computer, then turn on the power of the testing machine. Select the appropriate test type based on the experiment to be conducted. 3. Trial run: Select an appropriate speed to operate the testing machine up and down in order to confirm that the tensile tester is functioning properly. 4. Create new records: Determine the number of record entries required based on the number of tests to be conducted; then enter relevant data such as batch numbers, identifiers, testing environment, and sample dimensions. 5. Place the specimen: Adjust the position on the testing machine for placing the specimen, and then place the specimen there. 6. Select the range: Based on the required testing force and range of deformation for the experiment, adjust the tensile tester to the appropriate setting for force and deformation (range). 7. Reset: Reset the test force, deformation, and displacement. 8. Test speed: Set an appropriate test speed in accordance with the requirements specified in the standards for the testing process; if the standards do not specify a speed, choose a suitable one, ensuring that it is not too high to avoid affecting the test results. 9. Termination conditions: According to the requirements of the testing procedures specified in the standards, if the specimen is to be damaged (for example, during tensile testing or cement compression), select “Failure mode determination”. If the testing should be terminated when a certain test force is reached, select “Target value” and “Test force”. If it should be terminated when a certain degree of deformation is achieved, select “Target value” and “Deformation”. 10. Start test: Click the “Start Test” button to begin the test. 11. Test completion: The “Test Completed” button is pressed automatically once the test is finished. If it is necessary to terminate the test midway, you can also manually end it by pressing the “Test End” button. 12. Test results: Click the “Analyze” button to view the corresponding test results. Continue testing: Click the “Test” button to return to the testing interface; clicking the “Next” button will switch to the next test record. Repeat steps 5–11 to conduct further tests. 13. Save data: If the test data needs to be saved, press the “Save” button to store it in the database for future reference. Print report: If the test results need to be printed, click the “Output Report” button to export them to a Word document for printing. 14. Shut down: First, turn off the power supply of the testing machine, then shut down the software control system and the computer. III. Precautions for the tensile testing machine 1. Before operating the tensile machine, check whether there is lubricant in the reducer located under the worktable. 2. The pre-tensioning speed should be lower than the testing speed to prevent the two fixtures from coming into contact, which could otherwise damage them. 3. Be careful when connecting the wires for the sensors. 4. Lubricate the screw and nut of the testing machine every six months. 5. Keep the testing machine clean.
