I have a question here: is it necessary to have both a fire engineer and a safety engineer? What impact will this have on future work?
There are only positive effects: in terms of knowledge and skills, one learns and masters more, and obtains an additional certificate, which provides more options when looking for or changing jobs. No need to worry about obtaining the certificate; there’s no need to concern oneself with anything after that
Which industries currently need fire engineers? ? ? At the very least, there are relevant regulations supporting occupational safety at the **level (although companies don’t always comply with them). But where are the relevant documents for certified fire engineers?
I’m not sure either, so I’m asking here for advice
Please refer to Document No. 56 [2012] issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Article 29: Scope of practice for registered fire engineers: (I) First-level registered fire engineers: 1. Fire protection technical consultation and fire safety assessment; 2. Fire safety management and technical training ; 3. Inspection and maintenance of fire protection facilities ; 4. Fire safety monitoring and inspection ; 5. Technical analysis of fire accidents ; 6. Other fire safety technical tasks specified by the Ministry of Public Security. (II) Level 2 Registered Fire Engineer 1. Fire safety assessment for high-risk fire units, excluding public buildings 100 meters (including) in height or more, large crowded places, and large **chemical facilities ; 2. Fire safety management for high-rise public buildings of 250 meters or more (including) and large **chemical facilities ; 3. Inspection and maintenance of fire protection facilities for buildings with a single floor area of 40,000 square meters or less ; 4. Fire safety monitoring and inspection ; 5. Other fire safety technical tasks specified by the provincial public security authorities.
It seems that fire engineer licenses are meant for affiliation purposes only.....
