Dear experts and masters, I have been pondering a question lately. Similar discussions have taken place on the Haichuan Forum, but the answers given were somewhat inconclusive, with each person having their own opinion. Therefore, I would like to discuss this issue again and invite all of you to share your insights and reasons! There are 2 water pumps; one has a head of 100m, while the other has a head of 70m. However, an actual head of 50m is sufficient for use. Now, for various reasons, they are connected in parallel in order to meet the flow requirements. I would like to ask those with expertise whether this approach is feasible, and why
It’s feasible; there just need to be control valves at the outlets of both pumps, otherwise the flow rate will be uncontrollable.
