My company has a large underground energy pipeline network, and during production, the energy distribution rate is often low, which suggests that there may be leaks in the pipelines. However, no obvious leakage points were found after checking the accessory rooms and valve chambers. I am now looking for someone who uses such devices or who has experience in recommending them for detecting leaks in pipelines, as the media involved are mainly water, air, and steam
If you don’t address the root cause, how can leaks be prevented? It’s more meaningful to do that than just detecting or sealing leaks
It is best to replace the entire pipeline; checking for and sealing leaks does not solve the problem at its root.
Accurate measurement is important, but investments in this area are often reluctant to be made

If there is a leak, the water may seep downward, and it’s normal to encounter layers where water can seep through. 2. There is no inspection for air passing underground. 3. I’ve never seen steam pipes laid directly underground; at most they are placed in ducts, but there are issues related to insulation and measurement……
Leaks in buried pipes are indeed a hassle, so if conditions permit, it is recommended to switch to above-ground pipes.
Each using unit installs flow meters to calculate the difference between the product output and the actual usage volume.
Water and steam pipes are generally installed on pipe trays, so leaks can be heard or seen if they occur; for underground water pipes, it is only possible to determine whether there is a leak by installing flow meters on the main pipes and branch pipes.
Have you used any leak detectors? Could you recommend one? The main requirements are ease of use and accuracy, with water being the primary medium used
