Fresh graduate newbie seeking a job

I’m a graduate this year, and I have a great passion for chemical engineering design. I’d like to find a job at a design institute to gain experience, but I’m not sure what kind of people are needed there, nor how I can prepare myself to increase my chances. I hope everyone can offer some advice; thank you!
For chemical engineering design, it’s better to spend some time in a chemical plant before taking on such work; the requirements for chemical engineering design are very high, and any mistakes can lead to serious problems!
If you go to a chemical plant, it will be difficult to get into a design institute later on. Nowadays, design institutes generally only hire fresh graduates or experienced experts; it’s extremely hard for those who have changed careers to enter such institutions, unless there are already people there who know them.

Well, college students are very malleable; they need people like you who believe in them and offer strong support. Those who know nothing apart from their major are the ones they need the most.

Of course, having strength means working in a large company – one with strong design capabilities that takes on major projects, which provides excellent opportunities for growth.
The large design institutes have little chance; they probably won’t hire anyone this year. The smaller ones are okay; as long as you have no requirements regarding location or salary, you’ll definitely be able to find one
You can go to a design institute, where experienced professionals can guide you; by working on projects and going on business trips, you can also learn
This year, design institutes are generally not hiring new employees. I disagree with the view expressed on the second floor; having a formal educational background has many advantages.
