The turbidity is too high; check the bypass filter as soon as possible and increase the bypass flow rate to reduce the turbidity to below 20.

The main problem with this water quality is its high turbidity; it would be worthwhile to investigate the reasons for such high turbidity. If the turbidity of the make-up water is too high, the make-up water can be treated accordingly. If the increase in turbidity occurs during the operation of the circulating water system, the cause must be identified and the side filtration should be enhanced. Excessively high turbidity increases the number of nuclei in the circulating water, thereby increasing the tendency to form scale. Excessively high turbidity also makes it easier for more bacteria and algae to adhere, and the mucus secreted by these organisms causes sludge to stick to the pipe walls, leading to corrosion beneath the scale. In areas with slow water flow, suspended particles are more likely to settle on the pipe walls. For single-pass water quality, the calcium hardness plus total alkalinity of this circulating water is 760 ppm, with an R.S.I of around 3.8, which indicates relatively good control. Conventional organophosphorus and polycarboxylate agents can control it. If the heat exchanger is made of carbon steel, it is possible to increase the concentration ratio to a certain extent and reduce the amount of waste discharged, while simultaneously reducing turbidity. If it is made of stainless steel, it can operate as usual.
