Hello everyone. According to 7.2.1, for metal pipes and valves of flammable gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids with a nominal diameter of less than 25 mm that are connected using tapered pipe threads, sealing welding should be applied at the threads, except for those pipes carrying media that are prone to crevice corrosion. What I want to ask is: to what extent does crevice corrosion affect sealed welding? And if sealed welding is not used, can threaded connections resist crevice corrosion? Please clarify. Thank you.

I don’t understand this; I occasionally see sealed welding.
For medium pipes prone to crevice corrosion, I usually use weld jointing.
