According to the latest design specifications for compressed air stations, there is a clause 2.0.4 that states, \"Compressed air stations with a working pressure of 3.2 MPa or higher shall not be located in basements, semi-basements, or within floors.\" Does this mean that they can only be installed on the first floor?
It should be said that large or high-pressure compressed air stations should be located in open areas with stable foundations. Generally, such large-scale high-pressure equipment carries certain risk factors, such as vibration and tank rupture. When installed in enclosed areas like basements, semi-basements, or floors, it can lead to secondary accidents resulting from gas leaks or the collapse of upper structures. It cannot be installed on floors because the compression equipment inevitably generates vibration, which is harmful to the building structure and can easily trigger chain reactions.
