I would like to ask the expert Hai Chuan: I have a heat exchanger with a diameter of 600 mm and a length of 3000 mm. Another device wants to reuse this heat exchanger, so I simulated its heat exchange performance. It turned out that when only the length, tube spacing, and number of tubes in the tube side are entered as data for the tubes, and only the inner and outer diameters of the equipment are entered as data for the shell side, the simulation fails to calculate the correct number of heat exchange tubes. Is there a problem with this?
Whether rating or simulation is used, the number of heat exchange tubes turns out to be less than the actual value. Could it be that the heat flow rate I entered is too low, causing it to think that such a large heat exchange area isn’t necessary?
Shouldn’t there also be things like dirt thermal resistance?~~~
