Current tank specifications require the use of two different types of level gauges; I wonder how everyone makes their choices? How is it working? Can a differential pressure radar be used? Or do the two radars meet the specifications?
For your information, our company has an acrylic spherical tank with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters, and the diameter of the sphere is approximately 16 meters.
Differential pressure and radar are great; that’s how our unit is equipped.
Our facility uses radar and contactless ultrasonic level gauges; there is also a high-level switch on top of the spherical tank! 2400 cubic meters, diameter 16.5 meters, used for storing ethylene!

To avoid interference, contactless methods are avoided in stadiums and storage tanks; guided wave radar level gauges are recommended. Although they are contact-based, they offer high measurement accuracy and good resistance to interference. Moreover, since the dielectric constant of propylene is relatively low, contact-based sensors are the most suitable choice
It is recommended to use a servo level gauge, as it is less affected by temperature; radar levels tend to fluctuate easily
