Isn’t the outer ring gasket prone to leakage?
The inner ring (Type B metal wound gasket) is suitable only for MFM male and female flanges. The RF must have an outer ring (type C or D); it may not have an inner ring. The key point regarding CI, whether it’s CI or not, is whether your installation and parameters meet the requirements
The RF surface is equipped with an outer ring, also known as a positioning ring. If the pressure is high or the pipe fittings are large, both the inner ring and the outer ring can be used simultaneously. The MFM surface has an inner ring.
