Regarding questions about the design of automated instruments, there are so many standards – some are industry-specific, while others are set by individual companies. Which one should be used as a guide during design? What should be done if there are conflicts between the contents of the SH standard and the SY standard?
I think the core principles remain unchanged; the fundamental rules are the same, it’s just that the degree of strictness required varies. For example, in terms of word usage, “should” is changed to “ought to”, and “ought to” is changed to “must”, etc.
