Why does the corrosion inhibitor in the residue hydrogenation unit corrode the pipelines so severely? For such pipes when selecting a pressure gauge, what kind of gasket should be used for the pressure gauge? Medium temperature: 40, operating pressure: 1 MPa
I have only seen polytetrafluoroethylene gaskets for pressure gauges.
PTFE gaskets can be used when the temperature and pressure are not high; copper or aluminum gaskets should be used when the temperature and pressure are high.

We usually use copper gaskets, but we are concerned about corrosion
If the resin material corrodes, copper gaskets can be used; several instrument manufacturers produce them, but there may be no advertisements or samples available.
Anodized copper gasket, PTFE gasket
A PTFE gasket is sufficient for this operating condition.
PTFE can handle temperatures below 150 degrees without issue; a pressure of 10 kilograms is not high either, so PTFE gaskets are sufficient
