Selection of equipment flanges under vacuum conditions

I would like to ask: under vacuum conditions, 1. Can type A flat-weld flanges be used for the equipment flanges? 2. Should non-metallic gaskets be made of asbestos rubber or synthetic rubber? 3. Are there any requirements regarding the type of sealing surface? I’ve seen that for many vacuum equipment flanges (with a diameter of generally over 1000 mm), a groove (O-ring) sealing surface is used; can a flat welding flange with a flat surface be used for sealing instead? If it is an O-ring seal, how to calculate using SW6? How to design the structure? Are there any standards to refer to? I hope everyone can help answer it.
