Regarding vertical suspended pumps

Our unit has a vertical suspended pump, model LHN80-200. It has been repaired several times, but it still experiences severe vibration during testing, and the problem has not been resolved. It was referred to me today; I don’t have the drawings available. I think there might be an issue with the guide bearings, but the technicians who performed previous repairs said that there are no guide bearings beneath this pump – instead, there is packing inside. Yet no packing gland was found either! I’m confused now; dear marine experts, does anyone know what this structure is, or do you have any drawings of such a pump? I’m considering manufacturing a copper sleeve as a replacement for the packing! I’m not sure if it’s possible
