No one has posted anything today, so I’ll post one. I’d like to ask fellow sailors why some MTO units are equipped with regenerator gas compressors while others aren’t; and what happens to the regenerator exhaust gas in those units that lack such compressors?

The FCC system has flue gas turbines; the temperature of the flue gas used in MTO regeneration is low, at 650°C for the regenerated dense phase. After passing through three spinners and a flue gas water seal tank, the temperature drops below 400°C, and the pressure is only 0.01 MPA. Such conditions make it unsuitable to use flue gas turbines to recover energy, so these turbines can be omitted and the flue gas can be directed directly to the waste heat boiler. Moreover, MTO regeneration does not involve complete carbon combustion; the flue gas contains 10%-15% CO, which needs to be burned before it can be recovered.

Some have OCP devices while others don’t; is that the reason?
MTO units do not have a nitrogen drying system.
The nitrogen used in the nitrogen heating unit of the MTO plant is primarily employed for stripping in the reaction tri-spiral fine powder recovery tank and in the stripping section for raw catalyst. The temperature of the nitrogen heater must not exceed 530 degrees Celsius.
