I would like to ask the experts here: There is a high turnover of staff in my company, and now the current responsible engineers are somewhat dissatisfied; we plan to assign someone new to these roles. Questions: Question 1: Do design and process responsibility engineers necessarily need to be senior engineers with a bachelor’s degree or above? Is it possible to work as an assistant engineer with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical design? Question 2: Besides equipment and measurement specialists, can assistants engineers handle welding, materials, inspection, and non-destructive testing as well? The requirements are quite high; therefore, the safest approach is to decide which institution you want to use as the appraisal and evaluation body first, and then consult with them. . .
