Even if the formula is written differently, is the algorithm the same? In other words, is it actually the same thing, or is it just a difference in the way of expressing it? Is the PID in DCS called a digital PID? There are position PID, incremental PID, incomplete differential PID, and so on. Which type of PID does each DCS use? 2. Can the PID module in DCS achieve self-tuning functionality? So we don’t need to enter specific P, I, D values, and the system will adjust automatically? Is this feature available in every DCS, or is it an additional feature that requires separate hardware or software purchase? 3. In the DCS, P in the PID module refers to the proportional gain, where P = 1/K. Do DCS manufacturers generally ask for P or K? Because it was found that DCS systems from different manufacturers vary; some use P, while others use K.

The basic algorithm should be the same, but the specific parameters differ greatly; in other words, some of them have many leading angles and thus possess strong functionality. Different versions of the Siemens system are constantly being improved. Adaptive? I’ve never used it; I don’t dare to use it.
