During the alcohol distillation process. Low-load production. How can the temperature of the distillation tower be controlled to better extract fusel oils? ?
The extraction of fusel oils is carried out in two ways: by gas-phase or liquid-phase extraction. Currently, liquid-phase extraction is the method commonly used, with sampling taken from the 2nd to 6th trays above the feed tray. The alcohol concentration used for sampling is 55–70% (V/V). Sampling points are provided on each tray to facilitate production adjustments. The operating conditions of the towers vary; the bottom pressure of some distillation towers is 110 KPa, while that of others is 550–660 KPa. Therefore, it’s difficult to determine the temperature level solely based on this information. It is necessary to explore gradually during production.
