Can the material of carbon dioxide gas pipelines be seamless carbon steel pipes?

There are 2 liquid carbon dioxide storage tanks; after vaporization in a water-bath type vaporizer, the gas is transported over a distance of nearly a thousand kilometers to the gas storage tanks. Could this pipe be a carbon steel seamless pipe?
I’m not sure whether it should be buried or placed in a conduit; whether carbon dioxide is in gas or liquid form; and if there are any requirements regarding purity. If high purity is required, such as for food-grade applications, then 304 steel is suitable, while for industrial use, grade 20 steel is sufficient. The same applies in low-temperature scenarios – 304 steel is still the best choice. It depends on the temperature after vaporization. If there are no requirements regarding cleanliness, it’s best to use 304 steel for the initial section of the vaporizer tube, as this section may experience low temperatures; if the subsequent tubes are at normal temperatures, then carbon steel can be used without any problem.
