Regarding the division of labor for electric valve maintenance, what is the situation in your respective organizations?

As the title suggests, the electricians and instrument technicians in my workplace often argue over issues related to the maintenance of electric valves. Our organization has a clear division of responsibilities: when there are problems with electric valves, it is the instrument technicians who take charge of handling them, responsible for signal adjustment and identifying the location of the faults; however, the actual maintenance work is carried out by the electrical team. . . Due to unclear division of tasks, in practice it often happens that no one wants to take responsibility. I would like to ask how the division of tasks is handled in your respective organizations?
The valve part falls under the maintenance team, the electric actuator is handled by the electrical department, while the instrumentation and control team is responsible for removing the control cables and control circuit boards.
So debugging (including torque range and error codes, etc.) as well as the inspection and replacement of circuit boards are all done on the instrument? Is everything else assigned to other specialties?
Here, 220V power supply falls under the electrical department, valve heads fall under the instrumentation department, and valve bodies fall under the fitter department.
The valve body is handled by the mechanical department during removal and reinstallation, while the other components fall under the responsibility of the instrumentation and electrical department; the company’s maintenance department has a small staff
The repair and replacement of circuit boards are definitely the responsibility of the Instrumentation and Control team; the identification of error codes and troubleshooting are also handled by this team. As for parameters such as torque, travel distance, and opening degree, these are adjusted together by several different teams.
So are Yidian and you the same company? That’s good, it saves us from arguing; actually, it’s not that easy to tell them apart in the first place
We combined the electrical and instrumentation fields directly, without any complications or headaches. If there are disputes with the maintenance team, it’s entirely possible to merge the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation departments again – nothing is impossible.
Here, electrical systems, instruments, and maintenance tasks are combined under one department, but conflicts still arise; in such cases we turn to the head of that department. Generally, motor drives fall under the electrical and instrumentation category, while valve bodies are handled by the fitters
In our company, electrical and instrumentation tasks were previously handled in separate workshops. Due to constant disputes regarding electric valves, the company established an electrical and instrumentation workshop after implementing the four-fixed system, allowing such disputes to be resolved internally.
