Hello everyone. Today, I heard from a colleague that for products in this category (mainly heat exchangers), it is not allowed to use heat exchange tubes from imported brands. However, I’m not sure whether this statement is accurate or where it comes from. Please advise! Thank you.

It’s not that simply enough to just ensure that the mechanical properties and material composition meet the national standards. Section 2.9.3 of the Fixed Capacity Code stipulates that if materials of foreign brand names are selected, their necessity and economic viability must be thoroughly explained in the design documents. The main purpose is to encourage everyone to use domestic materials as much as possible.
If using this material for the first time, an evaluation should be conducted. If there is prior experience with its use, in addition to considering its mechanical properties and chemical composition, its economic viability and necessity also need to be addressed before it can be used.
