It generally refers to the integrated installation of measurement-related instruments, flow computers, valves, upstream and downstream straight sections, and other devices on a steel platform, which can be assembled and tested at the manufacturer’s site before being transported to the production location. That steel platform is called a sledge. Equipment that is manufactured in a factory and then transported as a whole to the site is known as skid-mounted equipment. Equipment used for measurement purposes is called a metering skid.

Poster: A meter skid is a structure in which metering instruments, upstream and downstream valves, pipes, etc. are placed within a steel frame, connected to each other only using flanges and fittings. Skid-mounted equipment refers to devices that are fixed in one location and connected using relevant pipelines; when installing such devices, they can be installed as a single unit along with the pipelines, and this type of equipment is known as skid-mounted equipment. A metering skid is, quite obviously, a structure in which various metering instruments, pipes, and valves are installed on a chassis to function as a single unit for metering purposes; this is what we call a metering skid
I only know that a metering lever should consist of a series of pipes and instruments; as for its specific internal components, I’m not very clear about them
