Actually, this same situation occurs when buying other vegetables, including eggs; the defective parts are covered with tape.
Anything else will work too, as long as you’re creative.
That’s true; I noticed it too when going to the supermarket to buy groceries. Hide the bad parts.
I used to buy eggs in boxes, and some of them were cracked and moldy. Later, when I went back to the salesperson, they gave me salted eggs, preserved eggs, and things like that.
It seems I’ll have to go to the grocery market to buy them from now on,,,

I don’t know; no matter where, think about buying groceries or other items – it seems similar situations occur in those cases as well.
