The operating pressure of the low-pressure gas pipeline is 2–3 KPA. Arc welding was used during on-site construction, and inspections after completion revealed defects such as incomplete welding, lack of fusion, and pores within the welds. The overall appearance quality was good, and the pipeline passed the on-site airtightness and strength pressure tests. Can this be put into use? Will there be any major problems during operation? . . . .
It shouldn’t be possible; gas is flammable and explosive, and an accident can occur if it leaks. The inspection results must be 100% satisfactory.
