The supplementary absorbent in the absorption tower is injected from the top of the tower, while the absorbent itself is injected from 2.3 trays below the top. Why is that? Why not enter from the same place?
The purpose of having a stabilizer in place is to absorb the C3 and C4 compounds present in the raw gas, thereby achieving the best absorption results
During absorption, crude gasoline is fractionated, and replenishing the absorbent helps stabilize the vapor pressure. Crude gasoline contains light components and is unstable. Stabilizing the steam flow is required for further absorption and stabilization. Therefore, the crude gasoline feed port is located below the steady steam feed port.
