For such large pipes, it is recommended to use an insert-type flow meter; since the pressure of water gas is low, orifice plates are not suitable for measurement. Tube meters or thermal mass flow meters would work well

There’s no need to consider orifice plates; given that the medium may not be clean, target flowmeters and thermal flowmeters should work well. Other insert-type differential pressure flowmeters can be used if they’re not severely clogged, with purging applied.
