Hello everyone, I would like to ask for some advice. I want to add a suction filter; the medium in question is two-phase, and I need to extract the liquid from it. However, the solid waste doesn’t come out easily, and since the medium is toxic, it’s not possible for people to handle the solid waste directly. I’m wondering now if it’s possible to place the liquid outlet at the top of the device, so that the liquid can be drawn out from above while the solid waste remains below (with a filter cloth installed inside the device); in this way, after the liquid has been drawn out, the solid waste can be removed directly from below! Could everyone please give me some advice on whether my idea is feasible! The vacuum pressure is -0.06 MPa. The diameter of the equipment is about 2 meters!
A closed-pressure filter can be used directly. The liquid stored in the filter press is blown out using compressed air.
