During my free time these past few days, I browsed various e-commerce platforms and checked out many brands I’ve long followed. To my surprise, the pre-order prices for some well-known fashion brands were really attractive, so I promptly spent one-third of my salary to stock up on clothes for winter, spring, and autumn. It is said that on Double 11, people around the world were really busy, each getting what they needed, and everyone enjoyed it. I never expected to be able to get a good deal on Double 12 as well; although some of the styles aren’t my favorites, they’re still fairly acceptable. This is due to the consistently high prices both online and offline – it’s impossible to pass up such flagship products. Thinking about it later, it is inseparable from the sluggish economic situation that has persisted since last year.

Double 12 is mainly a time when small Taobao sellers hold promotional activities. My sister works in Jiaxing, dealing in Taobao clothing; from Double 11 until now, she has only been getting 3-4 hours of sleep per night. Then Double 12 arrives, and everyone in her family goes there to help out with the operations.
Having one’s own small shop is a blessing; as long as the products are good and sales are good, it’s worth the extra effort invested in the early stages.

Buy only what you need; don’t seek cheapness
