Over all these years, I’ve never actually controlled the 10% distillation temperature. In atmospheric and vacuum distillation units, what’s controlled is the dry point of the straight-run gasoline; as long as this dry point is within acceptable limits, all the other control parameters are also fine. As for the other components of the unit, it seems no control is necessary. However, to ensure that the 10% point meets the requirements, I think it’s sufficient to properly control the cooling temperature, ensuring that the temperature after cooling does not exceed 40 degrees.
