The Mitsubishi inverter FR-F740 can only move backward, not forward. It has PLC input and output points, and the brake is also disengaged. When trying to move forward, there is no change in frequency on the inverter, while moving backward works normally. I would appreciate it if experts could analyze this issue to determine whether it’s a fault with the inverter itself or with the control circuitry
Isn’t an inverter used to control motors? So what you mean is the forward and reverse rotation of forward and reverse motors? If the motor is controlled by an inverter, then check the inverter to see whether the commands for controlling forward and reverse rotation are correct. If it’s designed for single-direction operation, then it certainly won’t be able to reverse direction
Thank you, the problem has been resolved. It was the frequency converter that was broken; replacing it fixed the issue.
Check if it’s in PU operation mode
