Is it floating on the surface? ? ? Are they considered reconstituted components, such as higher-grade alkanes? ? ? ? Is there paraffin production at the crude methanol filter area? . .

A crude tank shouldn’t have an internal floating roof.

Haha, we didn’t expect that at first either. But when we opened the tank for inspection during maintenance, we found that the internal floating roof inside had collapsed, and all of its floats were gone (due to corrosion). It seems that methanol does have a certain corrosive effect on aluminum products; either that, or not enough alkali was added, resulting in some acidity. In any case, more work is needed in terms of the material used for the floating roof as well as its design and application!
During the production of crude methanol, samples can be taken after the filter – take a look! It’s a problem with production or storage.
