Can flaw detection still be performed on a heat transfer oil pipe that already contains oil inside?
Consult the testing agency. It shouldn’t be possible; it’s fine if it’s a gas.
Parameters required: diameter, wall thickness, temperature, density of the heat transfer oil, whether the pipe is insulated, the area to be inspected (preferably shown in a schematic), and the type of defect (surface or internal). After providing the parameters, determine the detection method.
