The gas from the alkaline cleaning process is free of impurities. However, the alkaline solution pump needs to be repaired every day; this is because the impurities present in the alkaline solution wear out the pump’s sealing rings. It’s not clear at the moment why these impurities arise – whether it’s due to the interaction between the alkaline solution and the packing material, or because the alkaline solution is corroding the walls of the container. Please provide your analysis on this matter
Fillers are generally corrosion-resistant, right, because the probability of reactions occurring is relatively low. I think it might be substances such as rust on the tower walls, or a quality issue with the Lasi rings themselves – their strength being insufficient – which leads to the formation of debris due to liquid erosion. Of course, residues on the tower walls could also have been washed away
Alkaline solutions contain impurities of their own, and crystals will precipitate at different temperatures; if the pipes and equipment are made of carbon steel, rust is likely to form. You had better install a line filter in front of the pump.
Leak-free magnetic pumps can be used.
When the pump was disassembled, there were impurities inside the pump casing; it is presumed that these were either alkali crystals or rust.
This post was last edited by yzjie on 2016-3-3 13:08. The impurities are likely things like rust from the tower. Is the inlet of your alkali pump connected to the bottom of the tower? If possible, raise the position of the inlet pipe opening. Then most of the impurities in the alkaline solution will settle at the bottom of the tower and can be discharged regularly.
